Meet Adam & Madalyn
Adam’s Story
Adam grew up in rural Corunna, Michigan, a first generation college alumnus in a blue-collar Catholic family. Adam learned the importance of the trades from a young age, learning from his grandfathers, dad and uncles how to fix and build just about anything, not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty.
He raised beef cattle and learned the responsibility of farm life early on. He studied beef cattle management, swine management and agribusiness at Michigan State, worked on farms and went on to work in both the beef and the dairy industries before pursuing his calling as an entrepreneur.
Madalyn’s Story
Madalyn grew up the fourth of five kids in an auto-industry family in metro Detroit, the daughter of a Navy veteran and the proud wearer of her older sister’s hand-me-downs. The importance of honest, hard work, church on Sundays and family first was instilled in her throughout her childhood.
Madalyn pursued a career in public relations after college, working in both the private and nonprofit sectors, including working for McDonald’s corporate and MSU. Madalyn is currently a business consultant at Empower Brands coaching small business owners across the country, enjoying the opportunity to interact with fellow entrepreneurs every day.
Building a Business Together
Conference rooms and fancy titles aren’t really their style, so in 2016, Adam and Madalyn took a leap of faith and started what became a very successful leather, vinyl, fabric and plastic repair franchise in mid-and southeast Michigan.
As top performers across the system, they built an incredible team and serviced a loyal client base. After a decade, they had a yearning for a new challenge and seamlessly sold their small business to another family in 2025 who continues to grow and thrive.
In their free time, you can find Adam fishing walleye or smoking a brisket, working on a remodeling project or watching their kids play youth sports. Madalyn enjoys a good cup of coffee with a book in hand, running and baking, all usually with at least one of her three sidekicks in tow. Their happy place is at their 1940s cabin near Higgins Lake, and their kids are their world.
